D7 Three-Part Electric Mixing Station

The CDC recently released updated guidance on mitigating the spread of COVID-19 considering the more contagious Delta variant. Those recommendations include following preventive measures such as wearing a mask, maintaining six feet of distance from others, and frequently washing your hands or using hand sanitizer.

It also remains equally crucial to clean and disinfect your facilities using Decon7 (D7) often to reduce spread. D7 is a powerful, effective, EPA-registered multi-use disinfection product that can be applied using several application methodologies in various industries. The product is a decontaminate, disinfectant, sanitizer, cleaner, and deodorizer with a high log kill rate.

The active ingredients found in Decon7, hydrogen peroxide and Quaternary ammonium, combined with soap, must be appropriately mixed before it can be applied to your facility’s hard, nonporous surfaces. Once mixed at the correct ratio, facilities can use one of three application methods to disinfect public spaces, all of which offer distinct advantages. These methods include foam, fog, and spray.

D7 Featured Product

A practical solution, not to mention an incredibly convenient one, for mixing the product is to use a D7 three-part electric mixing station. The electric mixing station blends three liquid products – chemicals or water, into a single solution and dispenses the finished product directly into an applicator, such as a cold fogger.

The unique proportioning system features a stainless-steel container with an electric pump that draws the first product from a user-supplied container, providing the fluid pressure for a venturi injector, which subsequently draws in the remaining components.

Ball valves in the mixture are used to switch between chemicals, and metering tips to control the rate at which the second and third chemicals are drawn into the first, adequately mixing all ingredients. The mixing station is an efficient and effective way to create the correct dilution ratio. Once combined, the solution is dispensed into a container of your choosing to be applied throughout your facility.
